Privacy Policy
What happens to your data when you visit this site — in plain language. In short: very little, and nothing for tracking or advertising.
01The short version
- This website has no accounts, no forms, no analytics and no advertising. We don't ask for your name or email.
- The site is deployed and delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
- We set no cookies of our own. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie in some cases — see Cookie & data settings.
- Everything — including fonts — is served from our own domain. No third-party services are contacted while you browse.
- Taking part happens on Instagram, which is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.

Let's World Record is a non-commercial art project for peace and human connection, run by the team behind @letsworldrecord. For the purposes of data protection law (including the EU and UK GDPR), we are the controller of the limited personal data described here.

03Hosting & Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) to deploy and host this website (Cloudflare Workers), deliver it through Cloudflare's global network, and protect it against abuse such as DDoS attacks and malicious bots. Cloudflare acts as our processor under its Data Processing Addendum.
What Cloudflare processes when you visit

This processing is necessary to make the site work and keep it safe. Our legal basis is legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): securely and reliably providing a public website.
We do not use Cloudflare to build profiles of visitors, and we have not enabled any analytics product. Cloudflare keeps operational logs only for a limited period. Cloudflare may process data outside your country, including in the United States; such transfers are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Cloudflare is certified) and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. 05Fonts
The typefaces on this site (Geist, Geist Mono and Instrument Serif, all released under the SIL Open Font License) are hosted on our own domain and delivered by Cloudflare together with the rest of the site. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service, so no data is shared with a third party to display them.
06Instagram
The website itself does not embed Instagram posts, plugins or tracking. It only contains ordinary links to @letsworldrecord. Nothing is sent to Meta until you click one.
When you visit, like, comment on or share our posts on Instagram, that activity is processed by Meta Platforms under Instagram's Privacy Policy. As the account holder we can see what Instagram shows any account owner — such as public comments, likes, and aggregated insights about how posts perform — but we do not export or combine this with any other data.
07Retention & security
We don't keep a database of visitors. Technical logs are held by Cloudflare only as long as needed for operation and security. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to answer it and then delete it, unless we're legally required to keep it.
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, with security headers that prevent framing and limit access to device features such as the camera, microphone and location.
08Children
This website does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. Participation happens on Instagram, which requires users to be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires).
09Changes & contact
If we add any new service — for example analytics — we will update this page and the settings above before it goes live, and ask for consent where the law requires it. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
